Welcome to the Mercenaries section!
Founded in 2005 by Syrus and Nxuan, the Mercenaries - or Mercenary Elite Recon and Combat Squad - are a team of high skilled NotD players who want to beat all the challenges related to NotD maps. The first time NotD: Aftermath was won, the no ammo contest, the no base win, the first time killing fluffies (Wave 1 protection in NotD2) and "fluffies & hold middle until the end" : every time, M.E.R.C.S. members have been part of the team beating these challenges.
The Mercenaries is currently a team of 6 players: Syrus, Nxuan, H3ndrix, Bika, Sageypoo and MrNike, but several recruits are in the process of becoming the new members of the team! We are playing on the eurobattle.net server (commonly called Xpam) and on GGC, and have strong bonds with the N0TD clan on Xpam. Therefore, we share the same website and the same channel. Feel free to come and meet us in channel.
After creating 2 new routes for NotD2 (Helipad by Syrus, and Antares by Nxuan) and beating several challenges, Syrus and Nxuan released in May 2007 a new NotD map: Special Ops, with a new class and new skills, and new scary zombies making it even harder than the original NotD2.
In order to beat the upcoming challenges of the new NotD map, and to renew the team, we are currently recruiting high skilled players who want to be part of the adventure! Note that we are different from a clan: trying to be a team, we need the players to get along well. That's why you will need an approval by all members of the team before joining us. However, as a team, we do not have a hierarchy with shamans and a chieftain, and you will be treated as an equal M.E.R.C of the team once you fulfill the requirements!
