NotD 2
 |
'Night of the Dead 2' is a custom Warcraft III map, originally made by FM_Osiris & FM_Bilouxi. It is a team survival game for 10 players in which you and your team assume the role of marines who were dropped in a city, surrounded by enemy units and with limited supplies. Your goal is to survive 15 waves and make it to the evacuation point.
The map has been updated several times by the NotD community since its b1.0b release, with the most recent version being v1.3. Important additions include an 'engineer' class, an extensive nuketag mode and wave protection. Several maps are based on NotD 2.

NotD: Aftermath
 |
NotD:AM, created by Azazel, was the first new map loosely based on NotD 2. Originally named 'NotD: Pies', it was meant to be a fun parody map rather than an alternative. However, it was later changed and appropriately renamed to Aftermath as it became a most serious survival map with an amazing attention to detail. It features an entirely new map and storyline as well as many different enemies, classes, abilities and items. Version 1.3 won a place among Blizzard's Spotlight Maps and v1.5 is the most recent version at the time of writing. Since NotD:AM has an official website, there will be no further references to it on this site. Visit the official website for more information.
A small bit of trivia: a number of our players on eurobattle.net won a Pies 1.0b contest to be the first to finish the game. Your in-game character may still be named after one of them: Syrus, Firebird, Killer-Legend, Conta85 and Shiznit.

NotD: Special Ops
 |
NotD:SO is an effort of MERCs Nxuan and Syrus to revitalize NotD2 by making it more challenging to finish. Highlights include: both new and modified enemy units, a 'Terminator' marine class, new weapons and skills, 75% new terrain and a new storyline. The map has been released on May 18, 2007.
